Zion ECEC

Zion ECEC Providing Flexible Options For Every Family
Our Academically Enriched and Faith-Based program is designed base on age-appropriate learning stages. Our programs help children understand and enhance their developmental milestones, all guided and led by a loving and nurturing teacher. With small classroom sizes, our teachers are able to focus on each child’s unique God-given talents and skills and give them personalized one-on-one attention.
We offer Full-Day and Half-Day programs for children ages 2 – 6 years of age and provide a healthy snack option in the mid-morning and mid-afternoon for your children. Potty Training assistance is available for a nominal fee (diapers and wipes are not included and must be provided by the family).
Zion Lutheran Early Childhood Education Center offers several program options for families. Our available schedules include half or full days, either 2, 3, or 5 days a week.

Zion ECEC Art
Art can help children learn and practice skills like patterning and cause and effect (i.e., “If I push very hard with a crayon the color is darker.”). They can also practice critical thinking skills by making a mental plan or picture of what they intend to create and following through on their plan.

Zion ECEC Garden
Thanks to many volunteers and donations the Zion ECEC School Garden is teaching our students to grow more than just plants! School Gardens help to extend the classroom beyond traditional settings by expanding it outside. Gardening can provide students with hands-on learning opportunities while increasing environmental awareness and vital experience in problem-solving.
School gardens are also a great way to get children to learn about nutrition by helping them make the connection between growing food and proper diets. The school gardens are changing the eating habits of the students! This type of curriculum is extending beyond the garden to the school cafeterias, supermarkets, and kitchens at home.
